Etsy Store Now Open

The Hopper Design Studio Etsy Store is now officially open. Head on over and pick up something for yourself or a friend (or both). The store is stocked with tons of items from the Pop Star Limited Run Mini Print Set (Hand Numbered/Stamped Limited to 100) to various Hopper Design Studio items like coozies and stickers. I have also put all the guitar prints up for sale as well. There are 17 different 8.5″x11″ Prints of various Fender Guitar Model Illustrations available and they are also Hand Stamped/Numbered. There are only 100 made of each guitar so hurry and get one while they last.
The store will stay stocked with new designs/prints as they are created so make sure and check back frequently. There will be everything from more music prints (bass guitars, drums, Gibson models, etc.) to Movie and Superhero Fan Art. Stay up to date with all the new products on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Please spread the word!

Etsy Store Opening Tomorrow

So after tons of work and research, the Hopper Design Studio Etsy Store will be launching tomorrow, May 1. I am really excited about finally getting everything up for sale and open to the public. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the prints and various art projects that go up on the site. New products will be added as they are created so make sure and keep up to date on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. If you have an Etsy account, feel free to follow the Store on there as well!

The store will start out with some basic items like coozies and stickers as well as a Limited Edition Hand Stamped and Numbered set of Pop Star Prints. The set is made up of 5 prints including Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, Gwen Stefani, Hayley Williams (of Paramore) and Katy Perry. Each print is 3.5″ x 10″ amd will fit in a small panoramic frame. This set will be limited to 100 so get one while you can!

The second set of prints going up will be a series of Guitar Illustrations. There are 17 total guitar prints of various Fender models. These are limited to 100 each and will be hand numbered and stamped as well. The guitar series will be followed by a set of bass guitar illustrations and possibly some drum sets for the drummers out there. These prints will make a great set or an individual piece to hang in your home or office.

There will also be many other prints coming up such as superhero and movie fan art, buttons, stickers, patches and more! The store is set to open tomorrow and start shipping items shortly thereafter. Make sure to stop by and tell your friends and family!

Bettis Album art in Action

I can finally post up this artwork I did for Bettis Richardson’s Album Artwork for the Single “She Know My Name”. This was a really fun project because music has been a huge part of my life for many years. I played in various bands from high school on and learned to love everything about the music industry (especially being an independent artist). Album artwork is one of my biggest inspirations as an artist so to get to work on artwork for a Single was a great experience. Bettis was great to work with and gave tons of freedom on the design. I thought the final product turned out great and it is really nice to see your artwork up on iTunes. I can’t wait to do more of this type of work. Shockers Logo in Action

It’s always great to see finished work being put to good use. I was really excited with how the custom typography and logo turned out for the Premier Clayton Shockers. Revamping an existing logo can sometimes be difficult, but this one proved to be easier to work with than most. The custom typography lends itself well to the fast paced environment of the Cheer and Dance world by creating movement. Below you will find an example of the Shockers Logotype applied to a large gym wall.

Thinking About an Etsy Store

I have actually had a little spare time to work on some personal projects now that I am a full-time freelance artist. I was looking around online and decided that I may start an Etsy store for Hopper Design Studio. The store would include art prints, canvas prints and limited run prints as well as some t-shirts, coozies, stickers, etc. It seems like it would be a good outlet for all my personal projects that would otherwise go unseen. There will be a link to the store from here on the main site or you can search for it on Etsy when it is up and running.

There will be an official announcement when the store is ready, but hopefully it will be up and running in the next few months so everyone can take a look. Make sure and spread the word to all your friends family and if you see anything you like, the support is always greatly appreciated. There should be something for everyone from TV and Movie Fan Art to clever shirts, prints and posters. I will also try to set up a way for people to request certain prints that can be listed on the store. Feel free to drop me a line on my contact form if you have any ideas you would like to see. The goal is to keep it stocked with new art and products. You will also see sneak peaks of upcoming designs on the Blog as well as my twitter and instagram so make sure and follow me there as well!

WSF Logo in Action

I was surfing the web a few days ago and decided to check up on some of my clients. I happened across these images of the WSF Logo I designed in action. These are live shots from one of their competitions. The Logo has worked out great and has been used in many different formats. Here it is seen as part of a backdrop setup for a cheer and dance competition. I am glad to see it is still helping represent the brand on such a large scale.

Hopper Design Studio Coasters

Another promotional item I created for 2013 is the Hopper Design Studio bar coaster. This are a heavy duty paper bar coaster with a full color print on both sides. The artwork is all original vector art and was put together within the Hopper Design Studio guidelines. They also feature a list of services and a QR code linking patrons to the Hopper Design Studio website. I have already dropped off quite a few of these at local restaurants, bar & grills, etc. and everyone using them seems to love them. If you see one at your next meal, grab it or remember to mention it along with the restaurant location to receive your discount! Hopper Design Studio Stickers

One of the best ways to publicize your business (besides business cards) are stickers. I created some custom die-cut stickers utilizing the Hopper Design Studio Logo to use as a promotional item. These were screenprinted in 4 colors on vinyl outdoor quality sticker material. A UV coating was then applied to preserve their appearance for many years down the road. The final product turned out great and I would recommend them to all my clients. I have already seen an increase in hits on my site since I have started passing these out. They will be around for years as well so people will continue to see them. These were definitely worth the investment. Nothing like guerrilla marketing!

Business Card Feature

I did not realize it, but when looking back through some of my stats/hits for my portfolio site, I realized I had been featured on a few websites for my old business card design. I have recently redesigned my cards and they should be starting to circulate within the next few weeks, but I am glad to see the old card design had a good impact. I will post up the new design as soon as the printed cards arrive.

Centerpointe Church Design/Printing in Action

A few pictures of the design/printing that was done for Centerpointe Church were sent over and I thought I would share them. The prints turned out great on everything. Both I and the church were extremely happy with how these turned out.

The Welcome Center and Check-In Station look amazing and they look very professional when the whole setup is put together. The outdoor banners are HUGE and the Main Sign Banners that were made to cover the sign until a new sign is put in fit perfectly. Hopefully I can get some shots up soon of the billboard and print items as well. Until then, you can check out the design work in the portfolio section of the site.
